The Error Log

The Error Log

When a sync fails, Mocca writes what went wrong to Frappe’s Error Log. It is the first place to look when numbers seem missing or a vendor looks stuck. Open it at /app/error-log (System Manager).

Reading an entry

The list shows one row per problem, newest first. The Title (shown as the row’s name or in the Method column) says which part of Mocca wrote it. Open a row to see the full text: the error message, and for unexpected failures the technical trace your administrator or developer will want.

Mocca never writes secrets into the Error Log: keys and tokens are blanked out before the entry is saved.

  • Scheduled Job Log (/app/scheduled-job-log) shows every run of every nightly or hourly job and whether it succeeded. A failed sync shows here as Failed, with the matching detail in the Error Log.
  • Webhook Event (/app/webhook-event) lists the instant updates received from vendors, their status (Received, Processed, Failed) and Needs Review for ones that kept failing.
  • Sync Run (/app/sync-run) lists imports and their progress: range, processed count and errors.

Frappe deletes old Error Log entries on a schedule set in Log Settings (/app/log-settings). Copy anything you need to keep before it ages out.
