Errors, jobs and backups
Where errors show
- Error Log (
/app/error-log): every sync problem, with the vendor’s error and no secrets. Start here. The entries Mocca writes are explained in The Error Log. - Scheduled Job Log (
/app/scheduled-job-log): one row per run of every scheduled job, with StatusCompleteorFailed. Filter by Scheduled Job Type to see the history of one sync, for example the Shopify safety net. - Scheduled Job Type (
/app/scheduled-job-type): the list of scheduled jobs and when each last ran. A System Manager can open one and click Execute to run it now.
Mocca’s scheduled jobs

A job whose vendor is switched off writes one line and stops; it does not show as failed.
A healthy morning check
- Scheduled Job Log, filter Status =
Failed, last 24 hours: should be empty. - Error Log, last 24 hours: read anything new.
- Mocca Settings: a vendor with Catch Up From or Catch Up Failures showing is still catching up. For Mailchimp, Catch Up From also stays while Read Only is ticked, which is expected. See Switching a vendor off and on.
Backups
Backups of the database and files are handled by the hosting provider, not from inside Mocca.
